Refined aesthetics while preserving valuable tooth substance

With facing shells, known as veneers, we correct discolouration, gaps or irregularities in the front tooth area. We have these delicate ceramic shells, faithfully matched to the tooth in shape and colour, made individually for you in our laboratory.

Veneers are suitable for correcting individual teeth and complete rows of teeth. Since only minimal preparation of the tooth surface is required for attachment, the healthy tooth substance is preserved. Veneers are impressive for their translucency, colour, structure and natural appearance.

Our aim is refined aesthetics while preserving valuable tooth substance.

Ceramic inlays

Inlays are tooth-coloured fillings

Inlays can be made of composite or ceramic. Ceramic inlays are produced in the laboratory and are distinguished by long durability and good tolerability.

The most important points at a glance

  • Veneers are wafer-thin ceramic shells for the visible front teeth.
  • They correct discolouration, small gaps, chips and slight misalignments.
  • Inlays are tooth-coloured ceramic insert fillings for the posterior region.
  • Both options preserve healthy tooth substance better than a crown.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a veneer and a crown?
A veneer covers only the visible front surface of the tooth, whereas a crown encloses it completely. That is why considerably less healthy tooth substance has to be removed for a veneer.
Who are veneers not suitable for?
With heavily damaged teeth, pronounced tooth grinding or untreated periodontitis, a veneer is usually not the right solution. In those cases we discuss alternatives with you.
Why a ceramic inlay instead of an ordinary filling?
With larger defects a direct filling reaches its limits. An inlay made in the laboratory can be adapted more precisely to the chewing surface, keeps its shape and matches the tooth colour.
How many appointments do I need?
As a rule two: one for the preparation and the impression or digital scan, and one for placement. In between you wear a temporary restoration.
